Winter makeup = Color!
Makeup trends change every season, and sometimes even more often than that. Keeping up with what is in can be tough, but the ever changing beauty trends can be a good thing too, if you do not like the trends this season, before long they will be changing to something else.
This winter, makeup trends are all about color, which is a refreshing change from last winter, when whites and grays were all the rage. A lot of women have a love/hate relationship with color, because it draws so much attention to the face, but in reality, any woman can wear it beautifully if she knows how. Continue reading
Picking the proper mascara can be a very important decision when applying makeup. If you choose the wrong one, you could end up with raccoon eyes by the time you get home.
It is also important to have mascara that does not clump. I have used some that, literally, removed some of my lashes when I tried to remove it. Continue reading
Generally I’m not one to follow a lot of trends. I like my own style, and I know what I like. But there definitely a few fashion and beauty trends that I do like.
Here are some of my favourites!
I love the trend right now for long, dark eyelashes. Perhaps it’s a throwback to the seventies; I’m not sure. But a lot of mascaras are definitely being made to make your eyelashes look longer, thicker, and darker. A lot of people are even wearing false eyelashes, and one mascara even calls itself the “false lash look”. I wear glasses, so I love to wear eye makeup because it makes my eyes stand out more.
Natural beauty is my trend!
Another beauty trend I’m liking right now is the tendency to wear lip gloss or more natural shades of lipstick. Brighter colours of lipstick have never looked good on me, and even a natural shade doesn’t work as well as a lip gloss. I think this might be because I have naturally full lips, so enhancing them too much with lipstick looks bad instead of good.
Now, straight hair is a fairly popular trend right now, and I’d like to say that I’m happy about that because my hair is naturally straight. But I really prefer my hair curly. So I guess I’m just happy that there are so many options out there for changing your hair if you aren’t happy with it.
And the fashion style? Vintage!
As far as fashion is concerned, I love vintage styles, and the hippy style clothing of the sixties really appeals to me. I’m glad that style has somewhat come back into fashion. I love long skirts and peasant style tops. These seem to still be pretty trendy, especially in the summer time. Jane
Wanna look alike a dolll with flase lashes? Try the NYX Doll Eye Mascara. This mascara is perfect for my thin, short lashes. They try to fall down when I use strong mascara in two coats. That`s why I tried the NYX Doll Eye Mascara. It`s easy to use – and only once – an my lashes are “still standing”. I like the deep black tint too.
The mascara is not expensive – just try and if you don`t like it, you loose only 6 – 8 $. No big deal at all.
